As part of our ongoing work with ATEX-related solutions, we were once again visited by Tomm Giiff from TNG Engineering ApS for review and technical sparring regarding applicable requirements within ATEX, CE marking and electrical safety.
This time, the review also included our new mobile EX solution with integrated electrical breaker and automatic shutdown on alarm, enabling safe use of non-ATEX equipment in hazardous areas classified as Zone 1 and Zone 2.
The solution is intended for environments such as laboratories, pharma, medico and cleanrooms, where strict requirements apply to explosion safety, documentation and hygienic design.
Together, we reviewed the solution to ensure that the design, documentation and workflows comply with applicable directives and standards for this type of EX solution.
For us, it is essential that both solutions and workflows are continuously assessed by people with the right specialist knowledge, ensuring that products and processes comply with applicable requirements for EX equipment used in hazardous areas.
