What is a stand-alone gas detector?
A typical stand-alone gas detector is equipped with sensors that specifically respond to certain types of gases. When a dangerous gas concentration exceeds the threshold value, the detector triggers an alarm, which can be sound and/or light-based, to warn of danger. Our stand-alone gas detectors require minimal setup and maintenance, making them ideal for locations where fixed gas detection systems are not practical. These stand-alone gas detectors are commonly used in industrial, commercial, and sometimes residential settings to enhance safety by monitoring air quality. The advantage of stand-alone gas detectors is that, like our other gas detectors, they do not require a central system.

GP-NOVA Stand-Alone
The GP-NOVA Stand-Alone is an ATEX-certified gas detector, designed for efficiency, safety, and accuracy with simple maintenance. It features a large OLED display and optical touch buttons for easy navigation.
The GP-NOVA Stand-Alone supports multiple sensors for detecting different gases and offers wireless Bluetooth connectivity via the Geopal app for easy configuration and calibration. It stores up to 2000 events and measurements and has various digital and analog outputs for integration into control systems. The GP-NOVA is also designed to meet SIL2 standards.
