Servicetekniker Lars

Lars Helms

Lars has been with Geopal since 2011, serving as our Service and Project Manager. Based at our headquarters in Farum, Lars is responsible for enhancing internal collaboration within our service team and overseeing major service projects.

His role includes preparing, planning, and executing projects, as well as optimizing our internal systems and processes. Among his responsibilities is managing our intranet, SharePoint, where our service technicians can easily share their service reports and knowledge. This system helps them work efficiently and address service tasks effectively.

“One of the best aspects of working at Geopal is the level of autonomy and flexibility I have regarding my tasks and schedule. This fosters a positive work environment and job satisfaction. Additionally, the camaraderie among colleagues is invaluable. We collaborate well and often share a laugh, both in and out of the office.”

In his free time, Lars is highly active, whether he’s hunting or enjoying cultural activities in Copenhagen, often involving good food.

As a colleague, Lars is always helpful, attentive, and full of good humor. We have valued Lars’ contributions for over 10 years, and we look forward to the next 10.

Servicetekniker Jan

Jan Larsen

Jan the Man is always greeted with a big smile when he arrives at work, and his cheerful demeanor never fails to lift everyone’s spirits! Even our two company dogs, Minka and Maddie, are fond of him—perhaps because they’re often treated to treats? Jan has a French Bulldog at home, so he certainly knows how to become a dog’s favorite!

Jan has been a valued member of Geopal since 2016, when he joined as a Service Technician and began visiting our clients across Zealand. He’s incredibly open, talkative, and always takes an interest in how his colleagues are doing.

Jan is a trained electrician, and in his free time, he’s a man of many interests. He enjoys recreational fishing, motorcycling, and is a fitness trainer. We’re all quite impressed by Jan’s vibrant energy and positive outlook on life—something we can all learn from.

When we asked Jan what he enjoys most about working at Geopal, he said:

 “My fantastic colleagues.”

Without a doubt, it’s us at Geopal who are fortunate to have such a wonderful colleague as Jan!

Servicetekniker Lasse

Lasse Hyllehøj

Lasse joined Geopal’s service team in 2021 as a Service Technician. With a background as an electrician and experience in ventilation and gas detection, he brings a wealth of expertise to his role.

When Lasse isn’t performing service inspections for our clients in Zealand, he trades his service van for a mountain bike. He also has a passion for photography, which started as a hobby and has since evolved into a professional pursuit. Lasse now takes photos for events such as confirmations, baptisms, portraits, and more. So, whether you need a skilled service technician or a talented photographer, Lasse is your go-to person.

Even though Lasse has been with Geopal for only a few years, he feels like he has always been part of the team. He particularly appreciates the strong camaraderie:

 “It’s always a pleasure to come to work, whether I’m out on service calls with other technicians or handling administrative tasks in the office. We have a strong sense of unity and a great team spirit, which makes it a fantastic place to work.”

Lasse is a friendly, open, and talkative colleague who can always be counted on for a good and enjoyable conversation on any topic. Being around Lasse brightens everyone’s day, and he undeniably contributes to the positive work environment and strong sense of community here at Geopal!

Leif Servicetekniker Oest

Leif Andersson

Leif, trained as an electromechanic, joined Geopal as a Service Technician in 2020. He finds the best part of working at Geopal to be the excellent camaraderie and teamwork, appreciating how everyone is always willing to support each other across departments.

Leif might be Geopal’s most active employee. When he’s not testing and calibrating gas detectors for our clients across Zealand, you can find him spinning, working out, fishing by the sea, skiing in the Alps, riding with his motorcycle club, or enjoying a great concert. With such a wide range of hobbies, Leif always has fascinating stories to share. There’s never a dull moment with him!

Despite his wealth of stories, Leif is an excellent listener and builds strong relationships with his colleagues. He is always attentive to others’ needs, consistently smiling, and ready to help. Leif undoubtedly enhances the sense of community at Geopal every single day he’s at work.

Servicetekniker Sebastian

Sebastian Nordstedt

Sebastian joined Geopal as a Service Technician in 2018 and has since conducted countless service visits for our clients across Zealand. With a background as an electrician and years of experience in electrical work, he specializes in innovation and creative solutions.

Sebastian often works alongside the seasoned veterans Leif and Jan, with Jan having known Sebastian his entire life! We think Jan is fortunate, as Sebastian is a fantastic colleague—always helpful, friendly, and full of laughter. Fortunately, Sebastian also thinks highly of his colleagues:

“The best part of working at Geopal is my great colleagues and the fact that we always support each other. I also appreciate the freedom we have at Geopal, which helps maintain a good balance between work and personal life.”

When he’s not at work, Sebastian enjoys quality time with his family and can often be found on the soccer field with friends or at the stadium during the weekend.

Servicetekniker Brian

Brian Lloyd

Brian, a true Brummie born and raised in the vibrant city of Birmingham, moved to Denmark in 1989. Trained as an electrician, he joined our service team on Zealand in 2015.

If you’re receiving a service visit from Brian, rest assured that he’s nothing like a gangster! In fact, he might just be Geopal’s most cheerful and lighthearted technician. Brian is always kind, friendly, and exceptionally good at listening and assisting his colleagues. Known for his engaging conversations and a wealth of great stories—thanks to his time on the road—Brian brings a touch of warmth to every interaction.

Brian appreciates the variety of tasks and flexible working hours at Geopal, which allows him to keep up with English football matches in his free time. An avid football and rugby fan, Brian also enjoys traveling. Occasionally, he returns to his hometown, but we’re always thrilled to have him back!

Servicetekniker Jesper

Jesper Biehl

Jesper is a seasoned electrician with extensive experience in security solutions, specializing in AIA (Alarm and Intrusion Systems), ABA (Automatic Fire Alarms), and CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television). He has been with Geopal since 2019, where he serves as a technician, conducting service, testing, and calibration of our gas detectors and alarms. His tasks can vary greatly depending on the specific needs of each customer.

In his spare time, Jesper is an avid runner and golfer. At Geopal, a group of us runners keep track of our progress through a shared running app, and Jesper is a dedicated user who also cheers on his running colleagues!

Jesper is known for his supportive nature and lively personality. His good humor and cheerful demeanor contribute significantly to a positive work environment.

“It’s hard to pinpoint the best thing about working at Geopal because there is so much to choose from. We have an incredibly good and healthy work environment, and I have the best colleagues in the world. I give Geopal 5 out of 5 stars!”
