That same year, this GJD-03C gas alarm control unit was installed at one of our customers’ sites.
More than 30 years later, it was recently replaced during a service visit, after decades of continuous operation.
A service life like this reflects both solid workmanship from our production team and consistent service over the years by our experienced service technicians – supporting reliable gas detection and safe workplaces, year after year.
The GJD-03C is no longer produced, but the solution lives on. Today, it has evolved into the GJD-L3C with external battery back-up, which we currently manufacture and support, built on the same principle of dependable gas alarm control units designed for long-term use in real industrial environments.
The photo shows the original control unit at the customer’s site prior to replacement, along with the service report (in Danish) from 1994. The original service report even shows our very first address, back when Geopal operated from a basement in Ballerup.
