In the last four weeks we have been to four different exhibitions and it’s safe to say that securing workplaces and protect employees with gas detection was our primary focus!
Grønne Gasdage
At Grønne Gasdage in Denmark, Christian Middelbo gained a greater insight into the green transition and the future technology, Power-to-X, and hydrogen was a highly discussed topic. As hydrogen is an extremely explosive gas, there is no doubt that gas detection is an essential part of the green transition. That is why Geopal attended this very important and interesting conference.
Nordic Biogas Conference
Henrik Schou went to Sweden to the Nordic Biogas Conference to discuss flammable and toxic gases, such as hydrogen sulphide – the famous and deadly gas that smells like rotten eggs but kills without the smell! To avoid the smell and the fatal consequences in the event of a gas leak professional gas detection is the only solution which is why we were proud to sponsor and exhibit at this biogas conference.
Chillventa
Henrik also traveled to Germany to attend Chillventa, the world’s leading exhibition for refrigeration technology, together with Christian Møller. As Chillventa attracts over 30.000 visitors we definitely wanted to be there to emphasize the importance of gas detection when working alongside toxic and flammable refrigerants such as ammonia and propane.
Hydrogen Technology Expo Europe
Finally, Christian went to Germany again to attend Europe’s leading hydrogen event, Hydrogen Technology Expo Europe. An exhibition filled with innovative ideas and solutions all contributing towards a low-carbon hydrogen future! And because of this, we had to attend! To learn more about a sustainable future and to talk about hydrogen as an explosive gas and how to keep workplaces in the future safe from hydrogen and other hazardous gases and fluids being leaked.
Safe workplace
So, for the last four weeks we have been discussing toxic, flammable and explosive gases in various sectors because we cannot stress enough how important it is that you and your company secure your workplace by installing gas detection in the areas where there is a risk of hazardous gases or fluids being leaked, so you and your colleagues can work safely – every single day.
