I participated on behalf of Geopal at the second network meeting on May 6th in connection with my Power-To-X Safety Network, and one of the many questions that came up was ‘Power-to-X or Power-to-H?’
FORCE Technology and DBI – The Danish Institute of Fire and Security Technology invited the industry to a day of knowledge, exchange of experiences and safety in the green transition at DTU Wind and Energy Systems.
There were, among other things, exciting presentations from Thomas D. Fechtenburg from Energinet and Ulrik T. Svendsen from Everfuel. In addition, we received an interesting presentation and a tour of DTU PowerLabDK with both state-of-the-art equipment and some older, but functional high-voltage equipment used for experiments and research within the energy sector. We also saw one of DTU’s solar racing cars. During the tour of DTU PowerLab, I was happy to see two of Geopal’s GP-NOVA gas detectors for hydrogen.
Back to the starting point and the questions that emerged during the discussion..
How do we define the Power-to-X sector? Power-to-X or Power-to-H?
