Every year, SME of the Year celebrates the passionate individuals behind small and medium-sized enterprises. SME of the Year aims to celebrate and honor the individuals who contribute to driving and developing SMEs in Denmark.
SME of the Year is divided into three different categories:
- SME of the Year – Board
- SME of the Year – ESG
- SME of the Year – Director
We are proud to announce that our own Christian Møller from Geopal has been selected as a candidate for SME of the Year – Director 2024!
From the official website of SME: “‘ME of the Year – Director highlights a person or team deserving significant recognition for their efforts and achievements. It is awarded to an individual or group of individuals who have managed to create substantial progress by developing the company for the benefit of customers, employees, and other stakeholders. The prize is dedicated to one or more individuals who, based on their efforts, have created a healthy economy and a good workplace.”

Last week, Casper Vinter Gyldenvang and Steen Hirschsprung from Jyske Bank, one of the partners behind SME of the Year, visited our office in Vedbæk to interview Christian and learn more about his contributions and achievements at Geopal.
Following the interview, Steen Hirschsprung stated: “Christian, along with his team, has achieved impressive results in the company based on best-in-class products, a strong service concept, and a unique corporate culture where employee development – and thus job security – is highly prioritized. Thanks to Christian for a few inspiring hours. It is clear to me why Christian rightfully deserves to be nominated for SME of the Year – Director.”

All selected candidates will be interviewed, and then in mid-March, three finalists in each category will be selected by a jury.
The award show will take place on May 16, 2024, in Kolding, and fortunately, we have nothing scheduled for that day!
