Product information and support
Features and Benefits:
- Variable fixed flow: 0.5 / 1.0 / 1.5 L/min as needed — a single lever selects the step.
- High inlet tolerance: Up to 70 bar (low-pressure model) or 275 bar (high-pressure model) with no flow drop-off.
- Two-stage regulation: Maintains a stable ~4 bar outlet pressure even as the cylinder empties.
- Standard connections: 5/8" UNF C-10 or 1/4" NPT inlet; 3/16" (4.8 mm) hose barb outlet.
- Durable materials: Brass or hybrid brass/stainless-steel body, Viton seals, and PTFE seat for long service life.

Data based on Calgaz 800-series variflow models 801–804.
With a single valve you can standardize calibration procedures across different detector types: simply select the flow required by the manufacturer and you get repeatable results with no manual adjustments. The high inlet pressure ratings allow cylinders to be emptied fully, reducing gas waste and lowering cost per calibration. The two-stage design minimizes pressure drop so sensors always see the exact gas flow they are calibrated for.
The predefined yet flexibly selectable flow rates make it quick to switch between calibrating portable detectors (0.5 L/min) and fixed transmitters (1.0 or 1.5 L/min) without changing the regulator. This saves time and reduces the risk of field errors. At the same time, you optimize cylinder usage because the two-stage regulation holds the flow steady down to the last few bar. Corrosion-resistant materials deliver long service life and reduce both risk and total cost of ownership.
