I had the pleasure of participating in this year’s first Power-to-X Safety Network meeting on behalf of Geopal.
The meeting was organized by Complete Solutions ApS for FORCE Technology and DBI – The Danish Institute of Fire and Security Technology. It took place at Verdenskortet at Klejtrup Sø in Hobro, Denmark.
This venue proved to be an excellent choice, as it is a local attraction featuring a 3D world map – an especially fitting setting for a meeting focused on the global green fuel transition.
The main theme of the meeting was “Emergency Preparedness”, and we had the opportunity to hear from several insightful speakers:
- Jan Christiansen from Sydvestjysk Brandvæsen (Fire Department) and Kent Hansen from Midt- og Vestjyllands Politi (Police), who spoke about security, planning, and resilience.
- Jorge Ivan Contreras Cardeño from DBI – The Danish Institute of Fire and Security Technology, who gave a presentation on techno-anthropology and resilience.
Additionally, all participants were introduced to the “Resilience Game”, which sparked valuable discussions about how we typically approach problem-solving – and how we could improve by broadening our perspectives.
