Our skilled and hard-working service technicians have been visiting one of our major educational institutions all week to perform the annual service inspection of AGA facilities. We had sent the entire Team East and one from Team West to the institution, as – and hold on – no less than 200+ detectors distributed on 8 stationary systems and 26 RIGs had to be tested, serviced and calibrated!
Therefore, we had set aside the whole week for this year’s service inspection. When a service inspection is carried out, the systems are calibrated and functionally tested, and our service technicians examine whether, for example, there is a need to replace any spare parts. Test gas is needed for calibration, and in one of the pictures you can see our three service technicians, Dennis, Sebastian and Lasse working with test gas, also called calibration gas. Calibration gas is used when testing whether the gas detector detects for what it is supposed to and whether it gives an alarm at the desired concentration. In addition to calibration, our service technicians always complete a service inspection by preparing service reports with all relevant information from the work performed, as well as when the next service inspection should be performed.
Our service technicians had an exciting week filled with lots of teamwork and laughter, and their efforts mean that our customer continues to have a safe and secure workplace!
