Product information and support
Blackline Safety G7/G8 Dock is a docking station for bump testing, calibration and charging of Blackline G7 and G8 gas detectors. The dock makes it easier to keep track of testing, calibration and charging, so the equipment can easily be prepared for the next use.
The docking station is simple to use. It only needs to be connected to power, and there is no need for the same complex Ethernet or Wi-Fi setup as with certain other systems. This makes the solution easier to implement and can reduce the time spent preparing and managing detectors.
When a gas cylinder is connected and a G7 or G8 device is placed in the dock, scheduled bump tests and calibrations can start and be completed automatically when the lid is closed. If no bump test or calibration is required, the device can remain in the dock and charge.
G7/G8 Dock can also support more documentable operation. Data on bump testing, calibration and use can be sent from the cloud-connected G7/G8 devices to Blackline Live, giving the company a better overview of equipment, status and maintenance. This can be an advantage for companies with several portable gas detectors in use, where consistent routines and ongoing documentation are needed.
Blackline Live also makes it possible to manage and update gas inlet configurations for G7/G8 Dock. The default setup supports a multi-gas mixture, while single-gas configurations are also possible.
