Product information and support

Portable detector for up to 5 gases, with or without the Man-Down function and with the option for Push-to-Talk.

Blackline Safety G7c is a portable detector for employees working alone or in areas where fast contact may be needed in the event of a gas leak, accident, sudden illness or another emergency. With gas detection, Man-Down function, GPS location and communication, G7c can contribute to increased safety in working environments where fast response is important.

Protection within reach

Blackline G7c is developed for employees working alone who may need to quickly contact a monitoring centre or colleagues. This could be in the event of sudden illness, an accident, a gas leak or another emergency. With built-in 4G connectivity and GPS, G7c can send alerts and help locate an employee if a critical situation occurs. This can be crucial when a fast response is needed.

Blackline Safety G7c is available in versions where the Man-Down function is combined with a gas detector for single gas or up to 5 gases.

Technology that makes a difference

G7c is more than a standard gas detector. It combines gas detection with functions that can support the safety of employees working alone or in high-risk areas.

Reliable connectivity

G7c has built-in cellular connectivity, enabling the device to send alerts and information when network coverage is available. When an alert has been received, the employee can get visual confirmation on the device. This provides extra reassurance in situations where the person is working alone and needs to know that help is on the way. Alerts can be handled through Blackline’s monitoring centre and/or the company’s own team, depending on how the solution is set up.

Multiple layers of communication

G7c can send emergency signals through automatic and time-based alerts. This includes Man-Down detection, which can register if an employee falls or does not move as expected.

Accurate location

With built-in GPS, G7c can help locate an employee in the event of an alert or emergency.

  • viewing the last known location of each detector
  • setting up detectors individually or in groups
  • monitoring bump test and calibration intervals
  • keeping track of operating hours per unit
  • setting alarm thresholds and the Man-Down function

Service

The most important thing is that the equipment works when you need it

A portable gas detector only creates real value when it is ready for use and suited to the working conditions it needs to operate in.

That is why we offer more than delivery. We can also help with testing, bump testing, calibration, service and flexible options for purchase, rental and leasing.

We service both equipment purchased from Geopal and many portable detectors across different brands and models.

If you are in a hurry, or if a detector is out of service, we help you move forward quickly, keeping downtime as short as possible.

This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.

At Geopal, you can choose the solution that best fits your task and day-to-day operation.

Purchase
Relevant for permanent use, where the detector is part of your daily safety setup.

Rental
Relevant for temporary tasks, projects, service work or peak periods.

Leasing
Relevant if you want a flexible solution with ongoing access to equipment without the full investment from the start.

Sales and Support

Is Blackline Safety G7c the right solution for your situation?

Blackline Safety G7c can be a very good solution if you have employees working alone, moving around larger areas or needing extra safety beyond gas detection itself.

I would especially recommend considering this solution if it is important for you to be able to:

  • respond quickly to alarms or incidents
  • receive alerts if an employee falls or stops moving
  • locate an employee in a critical situation
  • combine gas detection with additional safety functions
  • get a solution that fits into a busy and safety-critical workday

If the primary need is simple gas detection without additional safety functions, another portable solution may in some cases be more relevant.

Geopal Calibration Gas, high volume

Blackline Safety G7c can be supplemented with a docking station that makes daily operation easier. The docking station can be used for bump testing, calibration, function testing and charging, so the detector can easily be prepared for the next use. This is especially relevant for companies with several portable gas detectors in use, where there is a need for a simple and consistent routine for testing, maintenance and charging.

Calibration and test gas can also be used as an additional supplement to check that the gas detector responds correctly to known gas levels. This supports reliable measurements and safer use of the equipment over time.

By combining your solution with these products, you get:

  • a simpler routine for testing, calibration and charging
  • a better basis for reliable measurements over time
  • quick control of the detector’s alarm functions
  • better documentation for maintenance and safety procedures
