Flammable Gas under pressure Flammable

Hydrogen is one of the most common elements. With the chemical symbol H, it consists of only one proton and one electron. In its pure gas form, hydrogen is colorless, odorless, and tasteless, and it is highly flammable.

Hydrogen is increasingly used as a fuel for transportation, such as hydrogen-powered vehicles, and in industry to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in connection with Power to X technologies.

Hydrogen displaces oxygen in the air and can cause suffocation. Prolonged inhalation can lead to symptoms such as palpitations, drowsiness, nausea, lethargy, and even unconsciousness. Leaks of hydrogen are difficult to detect, so it is essential to prioritize safety and implement appropriate precautions when working with hydrogen.
